Cate Andrews

Cate Andrews is a dance teacher and performer, currently based in Orange County, California, where she is pursuing a BA in Dance Performance at Chapman University. Cate has been dedicated to teaching and sharing her love for dance through various roles, including as the creator and lead instructor of the “Hip Hop Camp with Cate” Youth Summer Camp, and as an instructor for Jazz Progressions and Hip Hop classes at dance studios Broadway Lights Dance in Gulf Breeze, FL and Alfonso Academy in Destin, FL.

Cate’s dance training includes Jazz, Jazz Funk, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, and Ballet. Her development was further honed through programs like the APEX Pre-Professional Development under Candace Trasoras and convention assistant programs.

In addition to teaching and performing, Cate has also ventured into choreography, creating competition pieces for studios and assisting well-known choreographers in hip-hop, lyrical, and jazz genres.
