Katie Daly

Ms. Daly began her dance training at Allegro School of Dance and Music. To further her training, she spent her summers with the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and with the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City.

After graduating from high school, Katie was invited to join the Continental Ballet Company and performed as a soloist in several classical ballet productions for the Company including the Flower Queen, Rat Queen & Arabian in the Nutcracker,  the dance of the Big Swans in Swan Lake, the Fairy of Song and Honor & Puss and Boots in Sleeping Beauty, and a Wili soloist in Giselle. In addition to her time as a professional ballerina, she also appeared as a judge in the 2013 competition season with Midwest Starz.

After suffering a performance career-ending injury, Ms. Daly graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has prioritized passing her love and passion for the anatomy of the ballet technique onto her students as a ballet instructor at multiple dance studios around southeastern Minnesota and Missouri.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys long walks on the beach with her husband, getting caught in the rain, and eating Chipotle burritos.
